Summary
Lift Camera has no account and no server. It collects nothing about you, and the app itself uploads nothing you film or log.
Camera and microphone
The camera films your sets, and the video is analyzed on your iPhone to recognize the lift, the reps and the bar. The microphone records the sound of your videos; you can film without it.
Photos
Videos you save go to your Photos library; if you use iCloud Photos, Apple syncs them as it does any video. The app reads back only the videos it saved, to play them in your training log and update them when you edit a set. Importing uses the system photo picker, which hands the app only the videos you choose.
Training data
Your log (lift, weight, reps, RPE, sets, and the recognized joints and bar positions) is stored on your iPhone and also written into the video file as metadata. Deleting the app deletes its copy; the videos and their metadata stay in Photos.
No tracking
There are no ads, no analytics, no third‑party SDKs and no tracking of any kind.
